Chemical Found in Colgate Toothpaste Linked to Cancer




You are probably one of those people who use Colgate toothpaste only because it is one of the most commonly used and known brand around the world.
According to a certain study Colgate toothpastes include dangerous substances which can be cause for cancer occurrence and appearance of other ailments. One of the dangerous ingredients is Triclosan. Triclosan is commonly used in deodorants, antiseptics, hand sanitizers and different laundry detergents. Another study, which has been released in the magazine Chemical Research in Toxicology, has explained that this chemical, if used in huge amounts, can cause cancer.

The government is keeping quiet when it comes to talking about this harmful ingredient’s side effects and will probably stay quiet until array of serious problems occur and finally ban it. The exact same thing has happened to the well known toxic ingredients such as DT, PCB and asbestos. However, Canada is the only country in the world to put a ban to Triclosan. The main problem this harmful ingredient is causing is the penetration through the skin and entering in the blood, which then leads to hormone imbalance. Colgate people still ensure us that their products are perfectly safe, despite all researches and proofs. As it turns out, you are the one to decide whether you will continue using their products or get rid of them once and for all.
