Blisters are small knots filled with fluid that forms on the top layer of the skin. They usually appear after constant friction that occurs after long walking, running or wearing uncomfortable shoes.
Characteristic blister symptoms are: redness, pain, swelling, high skin sensitivity where the blister is about to occur.
Fortunately there are numerous natural ways through which you can accelerate the process of getting rid of blisters.
First aid in case of blisters is toothpaste
Once the blister occurs on the foot make sure to try the following: make a mixture of white toothpaste containing baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol and mint. Apply the resulting mixture on the affected skin area. This remedy can reduce the feeling of itching and help for its faster drying.
Apply the paste onto the affected area and let it stand still for at least two hours. Toothpastes that contain bleach and dyes are not recommended because they may further increase the irritation.
Aloe Vera
This herb, which possesses many medicinal properties, represents a real balm against skin diseases. It is very efficient in appearance of red blisters on the feet. Aloe Vera moisturizes the skin and reduces redness and swelling. It acts as an antiseptic and reduces the risks of infection.
You can apply the gel that is found in the leaf of aloe directly onto the blister, or you can simply mix the oil with vitamin E. Gently apply the resulting mixture on the sore spot several times during the day until the blisters withdrawn.
Apple cider vinegar reduces swellings
Apple vinegar prevents infections and relieves pain. Apply it directly on the wound. If there is a feeling of tingling you can mild it with a little bit of water and then soak a cotton wool in it and apply it by tapping the cotton onto the affected area.
Another variant that successfully treats blisters is mixing ½ a teaspoon of paste made of massed raw onions with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Apply the resulting mixture directly on the wound, and once it gets dry, gently wash it using lukewarm water.
No matter which variant you choose, you need to use it twice a day, until the redness is gone.

You can purchase bitter salt from pharmacies. It is an excellent source of magnesium and can be used for the treatment of blisters because it quickly dries and drains liquids from them.
Fill a bowl with warm water, put two tablespoons of bitter salt in it and dip your feet. Soak them in for at least 15 minutes. After that wipe your feet well and moisten the blisters with vitamin E oil.
